Guillermo Peñalosa es un apasionado de las ciudades para todos sus habitantes. Guillermo asesora a líderes y a grupos ciudadanos sobre cómo crear ciudades exitosas y comunidades saludables para todos sin importar la edad o condición socioeconómica. Guillermo es el Fundador y ahora presidente de la exitosa organización canadiense sin ánimo de lucro Ciudades 8 80. Sus servicios de asesoría han sido solicitados en más de 350 ciudades diferentes en todos los continentes. Antes de inmigrar a Canadá, Guillermo estuvo a cargo de Parques, Recreación y Deporte en Bogotá; durante ese periodo construyeron más de 200 parques y lideraron la ‘nueva ciclovía,’ el parque temporal más grande del mundo, 121 kilómetros de calles sin autos donde todos los domingos y festivos gente de todas edades caminan, usan la bicicleta, corren, disfrutan la presencia de cada uno. Guillermo tiene una Maestría en Gerencia otorgada por la Universidad de California en Los Ángeles, donde recientemente fue reconocido como uno de los “100 Ex Alumnos más Inspiradores" en la historia de la Escuela de Gerencia. En el 2014 Guillermo recibió un Doctorado Honoris Causa de la Facultad de Arquitectura Paisajista y Planeación Urbana de la prestigiosa universidad sueca, SLU. Este año fue seleccionado por Planetizen como uno de los 100 Urbanistas más transformadores, y recientemente le otorgaron el Premio al Individuo Distinguido del Año, por la Asociación Mundial de Parques Urbanos.

Executive President of the Association of Settlers ZEDEC Santa Fe AC, represents residents, corporations, universities, schools, shops and hotels, in projects that improve the quality of life in the area. Interlocutor for urban issues of Santa Fe with City Halls, Government of Mexico City and federal authorities. She led the neighborhood proposal of Parque La Mexicana and participated in the management and finally the agreement with the Head of Government of Mexico City, for the construction and operation of the park. He integrated legal, financial, urban planning and real estate developers. He chairs the Technical Committee of the Park Trust, in charge of the management, marketing and operation of the park. Participates in City mobility projects to improve traffic in Santa Fe, through the creation of the Mobility Master Plan, reordering of public transportation and pedestrianization. She collaborates with Public Security to create a Secure Corridor in the area, improving collaboration between private and public security. She worked in marketing and operational positions at Pepsi, Sonrics and Walt Disney. She graduated from the Univ. Iberoamericana in Food Technology and has a specialty in Marketing at ITAM.

Graduated in Industrial Engineering and Systems from Tec de Monterrey with a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering with specialization in waste and bioenergy from the Technical University of Denmark in Copenhagen. He has participated in sustainability projects and humanitarian aid around the world as a collaborator of the NGO Engineers Without Borders Chapter Denmark and as Director of Liaison in the Directorate of Environmental Management in the Municipality of León. He currently holds the position of General Director of the Patronato de Parque Ecológico Metropolitano de León and is a professor in the engineering department of Tecnológico de Monterrey, teaching subjects on Climate Change and Systems Engineering.

Mariana holds a bachelor in tourism, a master in public function and destination management and tourism companies. She has worked in different companies of the tourism sector and was a Consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank and others organism. She is also a university teacher. She was Director of Tourism Planning of the Province of Salta between 2001-2004, has participated in different interdisciplinary teams for the elaboration of territorial and tourism strategic plans in Argentina. She has a large experience in tourism and for four years now, she directs the Urban Parks Coordinating Unit of Salta.

Arquitecto con más de 30 años de experiencia práctica como arquitecto y planificador, fue director de planeación de Medellín 2012-2015. Ha sido decano de las facultades de arquitectura de las universidades Pontificia Bolivariana y Santo Tomás en Medellín. Consejero senior en muchos proyectos de arquitectura y planificación en Colombia y Brasil. En la actualidad, se encuentra escribiendo un libro sobre la evolución urbana de Medellín para Turner publicaciones México-Madrid que será publicado este año. Visiting Fellow King’s College, Cambridge 2017. Recientemente elegido como becario residente en el Bellagio Center en Italia, por la Fundación Rockefeller Agosto-Septiembre del 2019. Miembro del consejo asesor de CGLU-UBUNTU, Ciudades y Gobernos Locales Unidos desde febrero del 2019.

Jayne is the President and CEO of the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy (PPC), a U.S. nationally recognized parks conservancy. The PPC was founded in 1996 by a group of citizens concerned with the deteriorating conditions of Pittsburgh’s historic city parks. To date, the PPC has raised over $112M for Pittsburgh parks and has completed 20 major improvement projects. Currently active in 22 parks, the PPC is poised to raise its profile even further; working with the City for a parks referendum in 2019 and creating a unified governance structure with the PPC being responsible for management, operation and development of all Pittsburgh parks. The Pittsburgh Park System is a diverse park system with 4765 acres of parkland that include 5 historic regional parks that account for over 2000 acres and frame the park system. From November 2010 through February 2018, Jayne served as the Superintendent of the nationally renowned and CAPRA accredited Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB). The MPRB has been recognized for the last six years, 2013-2018, by the Trust for Public Land as the #1 Park System in the United States and for the last 3 years, 2016-2018, by the National Recreation & Park Association as a Gold Medal Finalist. The MPRB is a diverse system of land and water spanning 6,804 acres of parkland and water featuring 179 parks with 22 lakes serving approximately 23 million visitors annually. Jayne serves on the board of the World Urban Parks, currently as board chair, the City Parks Alliance and Indiana University Executive Development Program. She is also a commissioner on the Commission on Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies, and a member of the American Academy of Park and Recreation Administration.
