
The call for educational sessions aims to receive information about projects around the world that want to be presented at the International Congress of Urban Parks South America in its second edition in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
The proposals received most likely to be accepted to be part of the program are those that are aligned to our 7 core areas.
Speaker Profile
- Architects, urban planners, landscape architects, habitat designers.
- Sociologists, anthropologists, marketers and administrators.
- Public officials of the three levels of government.
- Environmentalists, organized civil society groups.
- Any other person interested in sharing their knowledge and projects about public space with attendees.

If the proposal is accepted, when instructed, the speaker must sign the agreements, terms and conditions of privacy, share his presentation (visual support material), since this material will be made public on the web platform after the dates of the congress.
The educational sessions in its two modalities have a duration of 25 and 40 minutes. Parques de México reserves the right to designate the intervention time of the selected proposals. Sharing the space of the educational session with some other speaker making the intervention times fluctuate might occur.

Benefits
Selected speakers will be granted a complimentary general ticket for the days of the event.
Courtesy ticket includes:
- All keynote conferences and educational sessions.
- Entrance to "Expo Parques".
- Social events.
Note: Expenses related to registration for workshops, transfer, lodging, meals and fees for presentation of the session are not included in the benefits package.

About the session:
Title:
You must create a title that reflects the essence of your session and should be 12 words or less.
Select the theme to which it is aligned.
Description:
Describe your session concisely and clearly; This must be 200 words or less. If your session is
selected, the description will appear on our website, make sure you are invited to enter it.
Justification:
Justify the importance of your proposed educational session, identifying how your project / initiative
/ research, provides a solution to a problem related to public space and how it relates to the seven
themes of the congress. There are no limitations on the number of words.
Objectives:
The session must have clear and measurable learning objectives. It is requested to list 3.
Type of session:
You can make a personal proposal or in conjunction with other participants. These may be collaborators
of your same organization, but this is not limiting. You can make a session proposal with colleagues
from social projects, offices, universities - even from different cities or countries! It is important
to have the personal information of all the speakers involved in the proposal with a maximum of 2 people.
